September 18, 2025 – Susan Wright interactive demo to start making a cloth scroll book
The participants will need to bring:

A 1/2" diameter interesting but somewhat straight stick or wooden
bobbin that is 6" long. This will be used to fasten the scroll material
to stick or bobbin for winding up. It can be as plain or as decorative
as you like.
- small scraps of fabric, interesting paper,
ribbons, bits and pieces of interesting ephemera. Odd piles of string or
netting, etc. You can even include some pretty flat metal or other
material pieces of interest. Just keep in mind the scroll will be rolled
up so anything other than fabric or paper needs to be somewhat small.
- Sewing thread and needles to affix fabric to scroll.
- straight pins
- scissors
October 16, 2025 – Challenge -- Stitching (on anything)
November 8 Deadline to provide the Placitas with WHO the artists are and their items going into the show
November 20, 2025 – Syd Lord - TBD
December 18, 2025 – XMAS Party & Gift Exchange
