MMTANM minutes for May, 18th, 2023
The meeting began with the introduction of 2 guests that were attending.
There will be a Fiber Arts meeting on Friday the 19th. We have 2 people that will attend that and hopefully get more info on the Spring Fiesta event.
Also it was noted that for next month only we have to find a meeting
space as this one will be unavailable. Our meetings will resume here in July. We will be informed by email when that location becomes known. At the June meeting we will show our “self portrait” challenge work and also at that meeting Julie Fear will do a demo on creating cork animals.
Larry gave us a treasurer’s report and we have a balance of $1701.68 in the kitty and it suggested again that members put in at least $1.00 at each meeting as Larry stressed that we will need more money to cover Fiesta costs. The deadline for entries for Fiesta will be in Oct. or Nov. We will also need lots of entries so please start planning now.
Kathryn reminded us that on the website we can find MMTA info on the side panel.
Pam Herman was not present so we did not get an events report this
month. There is a water color show at the fairgrounds thru May 27th if anyone is interested in that ( hours vary)

Lastly, we enjoyed a fun sessions with Ginger on making paper stars.
